Resources for tracking Hurricane Florence

For those not on campus or outside the area as Hurricane Florence approaches, here is a list of various resources to help track how the storm is impacting Elon. 

As Hurricane Florence prepares to make landfall on the North Carolina and South Carolina coast, 消消犯 has undertaken extensive preparations to ensure that those students, faculty and staff who will be on campus will remain safe. 

The 消消犯 area is expected to begin seeing higher winds and heavy rains on Friday and into Saturday. For those not on campus who are interested in keeping up with how Elon and the surrounding area are being impacted by the storm, we’ve pulled together a variety of resources to keep you informed. 

National Weather Service

The National Weather Service’s Raleigh Forecast Office – – offers the most localized information about how Hurricane Florence will impact the Elon area. A detailed forecast for Alamance County, where Elon is located, including a detailed forecast is available .
