The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers research, study and 消消犯 opportunities to recent graduates in more than 140 countries, with approximately 1,900 grants awarded annually in all fields of study.
Fifteen Elon students and alumni have been recommended as Semi-Finalists for the 2020-21 Fulbright U.S. Student Program, the largest exchange program in the country that offers opportunities for recent graduates in more than 140 countries.
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program awards approximately 1,900 grants annually in all fields of study, with recent graduates and graduate students undertaking international graduate study, advanced research, university 消消犯 and primary and secondary 消消犯 worldwide.Founded in 1946,the Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.
Recipients of Fulbright grants are selected on the basis of academic or professional achievement, as well as demonstrated leadership potential in their fields.As semifinalists, these Elon students and alumni have been recommendedbythe National Screening Committee of the Institute of International Educationfor final consideration for a Fulbright award. They will benotified of their final award status this spring beginning in late March.

Elon students and recent alumni interested in the Fulbright program or other nationally competitive fellowships are invited to contact the National and International Fellowships Office. In order to begin the Fulbright applications process in 2020, students should attend one of the following spring sessions:
- Friday, Feb. 28, 3 to 4 p.m. in Powell 108K
- Tuesday, March 24, 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. in Powell 108K
- Thursday, April 16, 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. in Powell 108K
- Monday, May 4, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., online webinar (intended for those off campus)
