This fall break, from Oct. 12-14, the Kernodle Center for Civic Life is offering two programs: Environmental Sustainability (Wilmington, North Carolina) and Food Justice (Asheville, North Carolina).
In Asheville, you will engage in direct servicewith nonprofit organizations including: Bountiful Cities,Root Cause Farm andBounty & Soulwhile learning about food insecurity in western North Carolina.
In Wilmington, you will learn about the importance of land and water conservation by working with organizations likeCape Fear River Watchand theNorth Carolina Coastal Land Trust.
