Two new Study Abroad programs launch this January as hundreds of ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ students take part in Winter Term overseas experiences. The Isabella Cannon International Centre is hosting a blog for parents and friends to stay connected with students traveling to nations such as Ghana, Peru and Australia.

Elon featured in ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Ecology 2010 database

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ has been included in the National Wildlife Federation’s ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Ecology 2010 campus sustainability case studies, the only database of its kind in the United States to highlight campus climate and sustainability efforts ranging from recycling and energy efficiency to alternative transportation systems and green jobs training programs.

N.C. governor honors Human Service Studies professors

Associate professors Bud and Beth Warner have been awarded the Governor’s Award for Volunteer Service by North Carolina Gov. Bev Perdue for their work with the local Mayco Bigelow Community Center and North Park, recreational facilities managed by the City of Burlington Recreation and Parks Department.
