The assistant professor of education spoke twice in March to audiences in North and South Carolina.

David M. Crowe, a professor of legal history at the School of Law, and professor of history in the department of History and Geography, gave a series of lectures at the Stetson University College of Law on March 6 and 7.

The two assistant professors co-authored an article with Jessalyn Smith of CTB/McGraw Hill on the use of statistics across all disciplines in the Journal of Statistics Education

Professor of Music Thomas Erdmann has three articles published in a professional saxophone journal.

Alan Scott, assistant professor of psychology, and Elon College Fellow Lindsay Swenson (’13) presented their paper “Effect of Countdown-Only Pedestrian Change Interval Displays on Signal Recognition by Pedestrians with Reduced Visual Acuity” at the 92^nd Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board (TRB), one of the major divisions of the National Research Council, in Washington D.C., Jan. 13-17, 2013. 

Assistant Professor of Communications Nicole Triche's documentary "Taxidermists" will be a part of the 2013 Full Frame Documentary Film Festival.

As part of a panel at the 2013 Conference on College Composition and Communication, English Lecturer and College Writing Coordinator Paula Patch described ways writing faculty and academic advisors in the Elon Athletics program share the responsibility for ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ and supporting the writing of student-athletes.  

In March, Elon Law Professor Peter Hoffman delivered the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute’s Seventh Annual Lecture at Michigan State University College of Law and coauthored a National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) video catalog on effective depositions. 

Elon Law Professor Michael Rich presented insights from his current research about the ethics of deploying technologies that can prevent crime at the third annual works-in-progress series for internet law scholarship.
