As the semester continues to roll on, several exciting events are coming up this November that are perfect for students to expand their networks and gain some insight into starting their future careers. From law school prep to grad school info sessions, here’s a roundup of opportunities to take advantage of this month!

Driven by a lifelong love of sports, Shaan Gandhi ’27 has turned passion into purpose through hands-on learning at Elon. With support from the Queen City Internship Grant, he gained real-world experience with the ACC while growing his sports business, SAG Autographs, and learning from mentors who inspire him to lead with drive and adaptability.

The ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Alamance program is an eight-week paid internship program that started in 2021, which provides Elon students with hands-on experience in their chosen field of study and helps them get involved in the local community.

At Elon’s Charlotte campus, Skylar Cook '28 is turning classroom lessons into real-world impact. Between her internship with the ACC and her research partnership with the Sports Business Journal, she’s building the skills and connections to launch a career in women’s sports.

Inspired by the 2008 financial crisis, Noah Biggers ’26 is pursuing a dual degree in accounting through the Odyssey Program to ensure ethical accountability in the corporate world.

Behind Elon's "It Takes A Village Project" are two AmeriCorps VISTAs and recent Elon graduates who work to maintain the success of the program.

Inspired by her sister’s recovery, Carmencita Rosales ’20 discovered her passion for storytelling at Elon and turned it into a thriving career as a bilingual journalist and TV host. From launching WSOE’s first Spanish-language show to creating Tu Cita con Carmencita, she brings energy, resilience and representation to every story she tells.

Through her role at Impact Alamance and the success of the Active Alamance app, Nicole McGinty '23 exemplifies how the values of leadership, compassion, and a commitment to community well-being, nurtured at Elon extend far beyond graduation

Guided by curiosity and a passion for storytelling, Lillian Engel ’19 turned her love of editing at Elon into a thriving Hollywood career. From campus projects to major films like "Extraction" and "Joker: Folie à Deux," she embodies the power of hands-on learning, persistence and community.
