Book, who will become Elon's ninth president on March 1, was welcomed by the Elon community at a gathering in Alumni Gym on Monday, Oct. 9.

Hundreds gathered in Alumni Gym on Monday to hear from the President-elect and trustee leaders who elected her to serve as the university’s ninth president. 

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ’s ninth president has recorded a video message for all members of the Elon community. 

Constance “Connie” Ledoux Book, provost of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and former ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ faculty member and administrative leader, has been elected the university’s ninth president.

We will have refreshments, your free T-shirt and pocket guide with information for the weekend waiting for you at the Martin Alumni Center.
