A scholar of international property law, Professor Henry Gabriel has traveled to Europe and Asia this spring for educational and legal advocacy work related to his areas of expertise.

The Hon. James G. Exum Jr., who steps away from ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ this spring after serving Elon Law as Distinguished Professor of the Judicial Process, was recognized during a May 10 awards luncheon that celebrated ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ educators, mentors and retiring professors.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ and colleagues at a celebration of life praised Michael L. Rich, the university's Maurice Jennings Emerging Scholar and an associate professor who died in December, for his selflessness, his passion for ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ and research, and his deep love of family.  

Associate Professor David S. Levine was an invited speaker on April 20 at a program in Minnesota attended by legal practitioners and scholars with an interest in intellectual property.

Elon Law students, alumni, faculty and staff will gather in the law library on Tuesday, April 25, at 5:30 p.m. to reflect on the legacy of a beloved professor and colleague who died in December.

Tim McFarlin, a Legal Method and Communication Fellow at ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ School of Law, writes about the dispute over the role Berry's longtime piano player had in crafting some of the star's biggest hits.  

Supporters of ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ School of Law gathered March 17 for a special luncheon to recognize the collective efforts of community, civic, and philanthropic leaders who helped launch "a law school with a difference."

Elliot Engstrom, a Legal Method and Communication Fellow, received the 2017 Sunshine Award for Advocacy from the North Carolina Open Government Coalition in recognition of his public interest work to help uncover records related to a mismanaged town police department.

The Legal Method and Communication Fellow at Elon Law shared details of his ongoing research into copyright law based on a legal dispute between The Who and a U.S. company that took issue with the British rock band's 1967 album "The Who Sell Out."
