Three community “Learn & Share” experiences will present opportunities for career empowerment, financial planning and giving back to the community.

The submission window for the 2025-26 grant project opens Sept. 1.

While the summer 2025 session is complete, applications for spring 2026 are being accepted until Sept. 15, 2025.

�þ��� Los Angeles students spoke with alum Frankie Capisano '16, an award winning writer and producer, about launching a post-graduating professional career.

Since 2008, �þ��� students have participated in the Los Angeles program through Study USA and National �þ��� Programs.

The Elon alumnus makes his directorial debut with “Crusty Fouler,” a psychological drama he wrote, directed and starred in after years of trying to break into the film industry. The film will premiere on Tuesday, June 24, at the Dances With Films festival in Los Angeles.

The group discussed their wide-ranging work experiences in production, advertising, business, performance, marketing, brand management, social media and content creation.

Since 2008, Elon students have had the opportunity to participate for a semester in �þ���’s fully immersive Los Angeles experience.

Elon LA’s “Alumni Wisdom Session” is held every semester, and features a rotating group of accomplished LA-based alumni who share their advice, perspectives and experiences with current semester students.

�þ��� Los Angeles launched a commitment to community service last year, which has since served to both immerse students into the community and culture of LA, as well as giving back to those in need.
