¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ had a strong presence at the conference, held May 19-23 in New Orleans, with 11 physician assistant students from the classes of 2019 and 2020 attending and four faculty members presenting.

The first peer-reviewed poster session by the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants was held this month in Durham, N.C.

Thirty-eight candidates in the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program received degrees Saturday in a Whitley Auditorium ceremony featuring remarks from Dr. Andrew Lamb, vice president of medical affairs for Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center and medical director for the ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Physician Assistant Studies program.

The High Point, N.C. FOX affiliate produced an extended segment on the program, launched in 2017, for its Buckley Report.

The Jan. 2 article provided an overview that the innovative program is having on the education of students in the School of Health Sciences. 

Elon’s School of Health Sciences welcomed two new classes of graduate students to the university community this week.   

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ in Elon's Physician Assistant Studies program and staff from the Alamance Open Door Clinic participated in a design thinking sprint on Tuesday, Dec. 5, to address two questions related to quality improvement and patient adherence.

The White Coat Ceremony marks the start of intensive clinical learning experiences for the 38 members of the program's Class of 2019.

The School of Health Sciences hosted its second interprofessional education session on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017. The event included students from the Elon Physician Assistant, Elon Physical Therapy and Alamance Community College Nursing programs. 

The annual Department of Physician Assistant Studies symposium focused on medical improvisation, design thinking and empathy.
