During the last year, ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ graduate Alex Hadden ’13 has worked on a documentary, titled “BRAND: A Second Coming," that features entertainment personality Russell Brand. The film will have its world premiere March 13 at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas.

Several ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ graduates earned top honors in the North Carolina Press Association’s 2014 News, Editorial and Photojournalism Contest. The alumni winners, ​led by Kristin Zachary '09 and Scott Muthersbaugh '06, were celebrated at the association's annual Winter Institute Feb. 26.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ and faculty from ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ's School of Communications placed in several awards categories in the 2015 Broadcast Education Association’s Festival of Media Arts. They will be recognized at the organization's annual conference April 12-15 in Las Vegas.

The ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ alumnus and respected broadcaster discussed an array of topics during a stop Feb. 12 in the School of Communications.

The School of Communications graduate launched a fundraising campaign in January to promote his project ‘Gossamer,’ attempting to crack the Hollywood standard of creating original content.

Undergraduate and graduate students produced a web platform for North Carolina A&T's CASE Lab during a November competition in Greensboro, N.C.

A School of Communications staff member and student emphasized empathy and the permanence of the Internet to high school students at The Burlington School.

Elon Local News is named the Best Student Newscast in the Carolinas, and three Communications alumni are also recognized for their journalism and production efforts.

Twenty-seven students met with alumni and viewed the operations of several media organizations.
