Faculty and staff gathered Jan. 13 to say farewell to Neil Bromilow, the man who has had a hand on many of the construction projects on campus.

Scott Stevens, sports turf manager, authored an article published in the November 2011 issue of SportsTurf Magazine. The article, "Maintaining a Synthetic Baseball Infield," discusses practical methods of maintaining the synthetic FieldTurf surface of Elon's Newsome Field.

Several campus offices have participated in a program to help employees play leadership roles in creating sustainable practices.

In recognition of ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ’s successful technology support unit, Fred Melchor, director of ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Technology Support, received an invitation to present at the UNC Cause Conference.

The longtime Elon staff member was recognized for welcoming newcomers to the association, promoting and encouraging member involvement.
