Annie Leonard, the activist behind the short film “The Story of Stuff,” comes to พรพรศศ for an April 22 evening lecture on the costs associated with the nation’s consumer-driven culture. Leonard’s appearance in McKinnon Hall, which is free and open to the public, coincides with Earth Day 2010.

A longtime Broadway stage manager has gifted to the university a collection of notebooks and other production material that will give students in the Department of Performing Arts an insider’s view of acclaimed shows such as “Equus” starring Daniel Radcliffe and “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” with Kathleen Turner.

Thirteen rising juniors at Elon have been named recipients of the 2010 Lumen Prize, the university’s premier award that comes with a $15,000 scholarship to support and celebrate their academic achievements and research proposals.

For the fourth consecutive year, a team from พรพรศศ has been recognized for its performance in the prestigious Bateman Competition, which annually showcases the work of public relations students around the country. Elon was one of 16 teams to receive an honorable mention in the 2010 competition.
Brian Nienhaus selected as Periclean Faculty Leader
